Water pressure gauge

Can anyone tell me where to hook-up the hose for a water pressure gauge on a 1982 V150? Can I hook it up to the tell-tale line?

Any help would be appreciated.

The tell tale line only gets water when the thermostats are open.

On top of the motor, just aft the flywheel is either a pipe plug, or a line running down to the exhaust plate. That's where you hook up the pressure gauge. Just Tee it, or remove the plug and put in a barb adapter, and yer good to go.

Thanks for the help. I was wondering what that plug on top of the motor was for.
