1961 75 johnson.... while running in a tank, I noticed warm water coming out between the exhaust covers & the exhaust tube.<br /> I'll drop the lower unit to check the water tubes. The motor does not overheat at a 1000 rpm or less, new impeller, very little water exiting the exhaust hole at the top of the rear cover. Just a slight spray but plenty of combustion exhaust. There has to be a hole/leak up there. My previous motor a '61 40 hp had plenty of water exiting the exhaust hole upon warmup & far less exhaust. <br />I will remove the rear cover and run to locate leak,and post what I find Tuesday evening.
