Water leaking from frost plug inside bell housing.

Has anyone had the opportunity to replace a frost plug from within the bell housing. The engine is a 350 Merc with a Alpha One stern drive inside a 86 NovaXL Wellcraft.<br /><br />Thanks for the replies.<br /><br /><br />------------------<br />LiquidCourage

Well, Liquid, why is it leaking? these core plugs don t just fail...are any of the other core plugs been pushed out and replaced? like from a freeze up? are the other core plugs steel? like whats in an automotive motor? if it froze hard enough to push a plug out in the bell hsg, chances are the block is cracked.... anyway you look at it, you are lifting the motor for acess.....
