water leak?

my 1987 85hp Force motor starts right up and runs great,my question is i noticed water coming from the front lower part of the motor where the shift rod is,is that normal?or do i have an issue,heres a pic of what im talkin about.

Nothing to worrie about, it is normal. That is outside the gearcase and there is no seal where the shiftrod comes up.
