Hello, I have a 1986 Chaparral, mercrusier 260 alpha 1.
I believe the leak is through the transom plate where the oring separator o-ring is.
I would 12 about around a 1/2 gallon - hour.
indecent have almost gotten arrested for indescent exposure at the dock trying to crawl in there to have a look.
outdrive
The leak is worse when the outdrive is up. My exhaust bellow is outdrive type that does not connect to the outdrive.
My allen talks about 5 bolts, 4 hex head and one allen head.
Is it physically possible to access these bolts to tighten them without Armstrong the engine?
Does anyone know where I could find stretch armstrong the mechanic? Or some of Tom Thumbs relatives?
