Water In Upper Unit - OMC Electric

I put away my 74 Crestliner (Chevy 307 with OMC Electric) a few months ago and noticed that when I drawined my upper drive, there was quite a bit of water that come out. This boat pretty much stayed in the water all summer long. Stupid question, but is this a normal phenomenon? or does this require attention before next summer?<br /><br />Thanks

It only requires attention if you want it to work next summer! Get the drive resealed now before you do furthur damage.
