Re: Water in the oil

i can really only tell you bad things and worse things

the block is gone and there is a good chance that that one or both exaust manifolds are also cracked

your heads and intake have a chance of still being ok and the other marine parts like the carb, alt, starter, ingition system should still be ok for use on a different block

tommays

Sounds like a cracked block/head to me. I would think you could re-use alot of parts. Pressure testing would be a good thing< I'm sure you will get some replies from those more in the know than me on this subject.

Go get yourself a Late Model(96 or newer) Block at a junk yard or machine shop,+ Swap out your motor...........
Or, a GM Goodwrench 4.3l Truck motor will bolt in nicely.......

Your Block is No Doubt,... Junk.....

Either Way,..... You're looking at, Up to $1500.00 to $2000.00,...... PLUS Labor......
