I would like to start a forum to go step by step after finding this issue. I would like to address this as hands on only. I have this issue after missing a drain plug last season during winterizing my boat. All help and additional information is apreappreci and needed. Thanks.

What is it that you want to talk about? Water in the oil, missed a drain plug during winterization.

It seems that you are talking about a cracked engine block. 'We' have seen many cracked engine blocks this season, more so than I remember from previous years.

Feel free to ask specific questions, but basically you will be getting a new engine block, if that is the case.

pull the drive
pull the motor
pull all accessories off your motor
get new long block
put all your accessories back on new motor
install new exhaust manifolds and elbows
install motor
align motor
install drive
go boating.

You missed a step

1a call insurance company and maybe write a small check.
1b write a big check

No insurance so that part is out and a NEW long block is more expensive than the rest of the boat. I guess I'm asking is the only way for milking oil the block. How do I know for sure that is my only issue? I was hoping to use an automotive 4.3 block and all my other marine parts.

You could try pressure testing the block. It would tell you where the crack is. You didn't say what plug you missed. Is there a chance the block could be ok if the forgotten plugs are the manifold plugs?
