water in oil

have water in oil. runs great on top end just at idleing speed it misses. never been hot no warning signals went off. always pumping water. what could have happened? 2006 bigfoot mercury 60hp.

Water in what oil? If a 2 stroke you have an oil injection tank and oil in the lower unit. If a 4 stroke then you have a crankcase and oil in the lower unit. Can't help you but clarification may help a knowledgeable person help you.
