Water in oil - going crazy!

Here is the story. I have water in my oil on my 455 olds jet boat. I have had the heads pulled, magged, and inspected. No cracks. Had heads machined and a valve job. Replaced exaust, header, and intake gaskets. After I replaced all the gaskets and cleaned up heads, the boat ran fine 3 or 4 times with ni problems. Then i took it out and it got water in the oil again. I believe it was the intake gasket that was causing the initial leak. I took it to the mechanic and he pressure tested it and there are no leaks. Where could the water be getting into the oil. This is driving me insane, and to the poor house. Any thoughts would be greatly aprriciated.

Re: Water in oil - going crazy!

I forgot to add, when I took the engine to be pressure tested ,we pulled the plugs to check for any water and there was none. The last time I got water in the oil there was about 2 inches of water in the bilge too. The only gasket we didn't replace was on the front cover, but like I said we pressure tested the engine and no leaks. I am so confused and frustrated. Can anyone help with suggestions

What Bond-o said, and I will add if you don't have a pressure regulator there is a good chance you ARE over pressurizing things. A healthy well built pump is capable of putting out up wards of 150 lbs of pressure.

Read this article;

The gentleman even specifically states Olds can have more of an issue with an over pressurized system.
