E ENSIGN Lieutenant Junior Grade Joined Jun 21, 2009 Messages 1,179 Mar 24, 2010 #4 Re: water in lower unit The gasket more than likley tore when you removed the housing.Iwould clean everything and reassemble using NEW SEALS and GASKETS.Pressure test the drive before you reinstall it.I've seen alot worse.
