Water in the lower unit is a pretty bad thing to have. Its even worse when you are duck hunting on a boat in the middle of winter and you trim the motor up out of the water to be able to push it up onto the shore. Then when you're done, you go to fire it up and leave and the side of the housing explodes from ice inside and you get stuck paddling with four shotguns! (unloaded of course!) Bad Day Hunting!!
