Hi Stauter99 <br />One effect that I can attest to is that your motor will run very badly or as in my case, run and die real quick. Installed the Water Seperator right after that ordeal. No problem since then...

I agree with Rick. My motor was stalling so I got a water/gas filter. Solved the problem. The boat had sat for a while before I bought it, so it had a lot of water in the gas. I put on the filter instead of having a costly drain and dispose of the gas. Just remember to empty the filter perodically. Mine started stalling again after a couple of tanks so when I pulled the filter, it was pretty much to the top with water.
