I recently replaced bearing carrier on Merc 115 outboard and now when I take it out the transom fills with water. It only enters right in between the motor mounts almost as if it comes up the leg , at slower speed it doesn’t but as soon as the open it up it fills. I have tried all the different settings, up or down it doesn’t matter. I’m totally lost as what to do or what has changed. HELP?

I'd say that the bearing carrier, assuming the prop shaft bearing carrier supporting the rear prop shaft bearing has nothing to do with water of the sort. Usually it's the deflector plate mounted on the front (leading edge) of the LU about 2" above the AV plate being under water that causes that problem. If engine height is proper that plate will be above new water coming out from under the transom and will deflect it to the side. Course if that plate is missing/damaged.........
