Quick question about water circulation on a 1976 omc stringer sterndrive 165hp.
Does all the water exit the system through the exaust or are there what i call pee holes similiar to what you see on an outboard. There are two small holes on either side of drive should water be coming out these holes? What is the purpose of the thumb size hole about 3/4 up the drive in the center, my guess would be some kind of secondary exaust.
Testing system in a 50 gal barrel. Does tsat have to open before any water is exausted.
Any input would be very helpfull
