Do boats with wash down floors have wooden stringers and flotation foam beneath the floor? Before I found this site I always thought that boats with wash down floors were the best because you never have to replace the floor. I've been reading a lot on here about the damage that is done when water gets into the foam and stringers below the decking.

Could someone please set me straight on this topic?

That would depend entirely on the manufacturer. Lots of boats sit in the rain for years at end that have wooden stringers and the like. It's the maintenance ( or lack thereof ) that is the real enemy.
