When Depth Finders are installed after market, are they sometimes wired into the "Warning Buzzer"?
I'm wondering now if I might have a short in the depth finder wiring causing it to trip the warning buzzer since I've basically eliminated overheating as a problem and it only seems to occur when the boat is in the water.
Is there anything that would short circuit when the drive is fully submerged when the boat is in the water?
