I have a 2002 Mercury 75 horse 2 stroke oil injected outboard. I was crusing along and all of the sudden one of the alarms for the motor goes off. It was a long beeeeeeep it was constant and not intermittent. I shut off the motor and used my kicker to get me back in. Does this constant beeeep mean the motor isn't getting any oil or is it over heating. Water is coming out at a constant rate though. Maybe something could have triggered the alarm? By the way, after several hours of sitting I would turn the key one click (to activate the gauges) and the alarm would go off?Any help would be appreciated. Thx
