Hi,<br />I have a wards seaking 7 hp. <br />model # 1700-1-106c<br />serial # 382765<br />type # xtv27007B<br />Could someone tell me the year and the spark plug i am suppose to run in it.<br /> Thanks in Advance,<br /> Joe

I'll bet that's J700 and KTV27007B. 1970 7Hp made by Clinton.

As I recall old outboards used to use a J6J or the hotter J8J. Just a guess but probably accurate. Hotter plug if the J6J fowls frequently. <br />Mark

Yup. The Champion CJ8 is the correct plug for that engine. Easy to find, since it's the plug for many, many small engines. Any Ace Hardware will have it.
