Wanting to go open bow, what yall think?

Here is our Holiday, we are wanting to remove the hood to put a platform and a livewell up in their, has anyone else done this? And would it disrupt the structural integrity of the thing, even though we will be bracing with the platform?

Do it! My buddy did it on his 18 footer and I've done it on my 22' Islander. It really opens up the boat.
