We're heading to Promised Land State Park on Thursday & we're thinking of dunking the boat in Wallenpaupack during the day Thursday before heading to the campgrounds. We've never been on Wallenpaupack before, so don't know what to expect for a Thursday.
Also, we're looking for the best ramp to use? We're coming up from the south (just north of Philly). Initially it looks like the ramp at Ledgedale Rec Area is our best bet. Is that still open for public use? Seems there is a $5 charge to use the ramp, is that still accurate? The free state-owned ramp looks like it might be a bit out of our way. Anything else I should know?
