Wal-Mart clearance sale

Wife and kids bought me a synergy spincasting reel for b-day, cool, was going to buy one anyway. Well, they told me that their was a lot of fishing stuff on cleareance so I stopped by this morn. Found the same reel with a rod for less money, bought two. Reels will go on our bows and rods will be put to work soon. Also bought minn kota extension handle, $5.00, atwood 500gph livewell pump, $7.00. Most stuff was 75% off. wal-mart in small cities = small crowds and good deals.

i have to agree with your math.small town here with wal-mart.we have alot of fishing on clearance now.went the other day and found alot of plastic worms which normally sell for $3.00 a bag going for 97 cents cant beat that with a stick.

Dang, the Wally World here doesn't have much on clearance. I gotta get to the one in Gulf Breeze, they have a way bigger fishin' section.

Luckily, I stumbled into this clearance by accident the other day. Bought a nice Shimano spinning reel, some premium line and a few other things, all at half price. It's worth going to look at, if you have a Wallyword nearby.

I was in there the other day and bought a 1/2 dozen sweat shirts for 9 bucks each.<br />By the way I tried looking for them welfare women that Ryan T said were in there. There were so many women I couldn't tell who were who

yup- you can get some end of season bargains alright-I picked up 4 propane lanterns for $10 each- marked down from $40.Of course, I kept one and gave one each to my kids, so maybe I paid full price afterall!

hey me too! i got like a million different things, bait knifs scalers, a scale, power bait, and all different kinds of lures for 25 cent a piece. now im really ready for the season! then at target i got two shakespear poles, one a exterra and the other a synergy, for $10 and $12 what a deal

I'm working my way through the W/M's in this area & so far I been to maybe half a dozen. Every store has different stuff on clearance - other day I found Kinami (senko) worms for $1, jig trailers for 80 cents and an ultra-light Mitchell spinning reel for $11. Haven't found any 25-cent lures, though.<br /><br />Anybody tried those holo-finish renegade cranks? How about the rabbit-fur spinnerbaits?<br /><br />gaugeguy, try mid-morning during the week, no crowds.

We use rabbit fur spinnerbaits to fish for smallies on the new river with great success. So much so I have started building my own spinnerbaits and tying on rabbit fur .

I've hit "4" Wally's in my area and although I've picked up a couple minor spinner baits, I can't seem to find that discount #30 trolling motor or fish sack I'm lookin' for. --The last one I hit already wrapped up their clearance sale. --I guess it's about over with <br /><br />Bass Pro Shop in St. Charles, MO is having some kind of sale that starts on the 28th and runs a couple weeks into March. --I have to leave town on the morning of the 28th, so I won't be able to hit it until the next wkd.....so I'm probably screwed again. Guess I'll have to "buck up"....
