wake skate

anybody have any experience wake skating? my kid is a skater and is looking to get in to wake skating. any info on boards or any info is appreciated

Wakeskating is just like riding a skate board. If you get your kid out and he tries it once he will be hooked for life. As far as boards go I use double up, but again it is just like a skateboard to each there own.

Basically a wakeboard without the bindings or fins and can even be ridden in the wake without the rope.

check this out and you will see what I mean. I believe the term the kids use to describe is "sick" or "rad"

ordered a hyperlite vinyl and it came in today. looks like we will be out this weekend. he is itching to get out and try it. he is good on a skateboard, sponsored by local skate shop, so hopefully he doesn't have too much trouble on the wake.
