Just a HUGE reminder to all boats that are Shrink Wrapped and are in the path of this winter storm, break out the brooms and push the snow off..... <br /><br />Many forget to do this and with all the weight of the snow could cause some damage to the wrap as well as the boat. <br /><br />That also goes for anyone the has the CoverIt portable garages. I have one of those as well, but in this case so far, the wind has been keeping up with blowing it all off. So far I see about 3 feet in my back yard, mostly due to the wind.

Did mine three times yesterday. Thank God its not at a holding yard or marina cause you cant get there from here. With all the snow pushed off the cover it is piled up around the sides level with the gunnels. I couldn't wait till I got in the water. Didn't think it would be a snow bank. Come on spring.

I started using my Craftsman leafblower to get the snow off the boat cover. It works well with most snow(even hard packed) but not the wet stuff.

i've been cleaning snow off my boat since early dec. this is the worst winter we've had here in 10 yrs. we had 32 or 33 days in a row with at least a trace of snow! we'll be getting another ft. by the time this storm is over. i've had it!
