VXR 650 oil injection question

Normally with a pwc this old I would immediately bypass the injection system. However, this thing is like new, and can't have a ton of hours. So, I checked, and there was a trickle of oil coming out of the tube at idle. Is that enough of a test? Does it either work or not?

Generally as far as oil injection goes...most yamaha don’t have issues with the actual pump...more the oil lines and fittings that perish and fail. I blanked off my old Gp800r system and pre mixed at 40-1 to be safe, after I rebuilt it. Peace of mind
