vro wiring hookup

I have a 1988 Johnson 110 hp model tlcca. This engine has a vro. The person that I purchased the engine,disconnected the two wires from the engine. This vro tank has only two wires coming from the oil reservoir to the engine. One wire has a bullet tip end, and the other end has a closed looped wire end. I found the bullet tip end that plugs into the tan colored female end. Now where does the closed loop end go to. To the ground on the engine, or to the yellow wire with red stripe, on the starter solnoid. Need help. <br />Thank you. Jack

The other wire goes to engine ground.
