VRO pump leaking

[STARCRAFT 72 SS]

Hello all. I have a 88' Evinrude 40 hp VRO that uses mix gas. I just picked this motor up and put it on the stand and hooked up the gas. Pumped the bulb and gas came out the top of the pump, just under the main top line. There is a hole there and had a o-ring seated in it, but no hose or fitting attached or any where else. I am not a mechanic by any stretch of my imagination. have some pic's here. Hope someone can help me figure out what goes there or if it's just supposed to be plugged. Thanks in advance.

So I took the Pump off the engine. It's the one on the left. The one on the right was in the box of parts. It does not have any wires coming out of it though. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great.
