VRO......any suggestions?

Okay folks,
Boat has been premix since I bought it, no problems there. Factory VRO Fuel pump started leaking/sucking air. Upon disassembling I found the larger diaphragm was pinched and had a hole in it.

Was given another identical pump but better shape. Long story short, took both and now I have one good one.

My question is how can I rearrange/reroute/remove hoses I don't need, also how can I CORRECTLY bypass the part where the oil goes in.

While removing the old defective fuel pump, I noticed something resembling a plastic tube connected to different hoses. I feel since I'm prefixing half of this crap can go?

Please help guys. I found DIAGRAMS online but none labeled what part or line went where.

Just plug the oil in line. Everything else, including the "plastic tube" thing serves a purpose.

Thank God! A straight answer from a no nonsense guy!

Reinstalling fuel pump tomorrow, hopefully I'm hitting 50mph on plane at 5k rpm this weekend. But I'll take anything better than my last 4 trips out.

Although I've replaced the solenoid, starter, cables, plugs, wires, batteries, added two graphs, plus led ambience, led crappie lights, I'm STILL only 275 bucks over what I paid for her.

Thanks again Jakedaawg! Wish us luck

Found the culprit, damaged diaphragm. Bought used fuel pump for $20 , it had a dry rot diaphragm but luckily was the opposite one. So I took two pumps, made one good one out of them.

The fuel pump still leaks a little gas the first time you squeeze the bulb on the landing. But no more stalling, or misbehaving. Ran a full tank thru yesterday and not one hiccup or studder.

Some people don't realize there was a basic, non electrical VRO pump. Took me forever and a day to find an outboard guy that could help me.

I have ordered the non VRO pump since I premix anyways. But while waiting 3 weeks for shipping I was about to go nuts.
