Hey Guys,
I have semi detatched the VRO2 system on my 50 HP Johnson just for the simple reason i prefer to premix so that aside the oil alarm has been driving me crazy so I recall reading there was a plug you needed to disconnect as this was for the oil sensors one being in the tank the other on the pump itself.
I have tested it without this plug connected and it seems to be the one as I didn't hear the alarm after doing so but before running it like this i wanted to verify that this was indeed the correct plug and it was only for the sensors and there would be no adverse effects to having this plug disconnected.
I have added some pics of what i mean.

You got the right one. Also disconnect the oil line from the vro and cap the vro nipple. Next disconnect the the wires from the vro oil tank.
