So I've seen a lot of literature saying that the mercruiser engine alignment tool is exactly the same for the Volvo Penta engine. Here's my question...Is the tool the same for all year models? I ask this because I saw a couple of them on ebay but they had different part numbers. I have a VP3.0 with a VP sx outdrive, boat is a '95 parson. I just wanna make sure that the year or model of engine/outdrive does not matter.
