VP 4.3l GL SX Serial Number question

Earlier this summer I purchased a 1998 Four Winns Horizon QX with a VP 4.3l GL and SX drive. Everything runs great. The pre-sale inspection and then winterization at the dealer (who originally sold the boat) also went without issue. However, I was looking to get the VP Service Manuals so I can do my own maintenance, and ran into a question regarding the serial numbers on the engine and drive. When I tried to enter the serial numbers for either the drive or engine on the VP website they both came back as invalid. After some searching around on the forums, it appears that the serial numbers are nothing close to what others with similar set-ups have, and I am a bit nervous that something was changed/switched in the boats history and no one ?fessed-up prior to the sale. Here are the particulars:

Engine:
4.3l GL
Model#: 4328PBYC
Serial#: T01310917

SX Drive:
Prod#: 3868885
Ratio: 1.79
Serial#: T0823236

Does the ?T? at the beginning of the serial number indicate something was changed? Or am I just being an idiot who should stop worrying?

That serial number is OMC. That was back when OMC and Volvo were in the joint venture. It's the SAME EXACT engine and drive as the Volvo counterpart, just OMC instead of Volvo.

The Volvo Model number would be 4.3GLPBYC.
