I've been reading many posts and I'm getting a clymer manual tomorrow, but would still like some help if possibile. I own 82 Bayliner Capri with VP 270 outdrive. The outdrive will not lock down, it flys up in reverse, and its coming up when the boat starts to plane out . Does anybody have links to pictures or parts diagrams? A step by step process would to locking the drive and or diagnosing the problem would be great, thanks.
