With all these close races, when will the Republicans start whining about voter fraud. When will they start demanding that they be allowed to count till they win? When will they start screaming that the elections were stolen?

Soon, although Cantwell whooped "Mike! the C;)nfessor" like a red-headed stepchild!
There is still some wiggle room on the Burner/Reichert race though....
Can't have enough seats ya know.......;)
Not happy 937 passed though......JK

Ya'll do understand that it was all the accusations and allegations of vote fraud by both parties that put the spotlight on the entire process and contributed to perhaps this being one of the best tabulated elections to date, don't you?

Folks, our election process still needs a good overhaul.

I'm just happy that those crooked republicans are out. Now we'll be governed by good, honest politicians.

There is a very good chance that Virginia will do a recount for the senate seat.
Besides the republicans have already proven that they are capable of ignoring the voter's count and just put the end result in the hands of the lawyers and the surpreme court.
On a different note.
Boom I wish you you knew how honored both PW and I feel that ,according to you,Thomas Jefferson mentioned our names in his writings.

I heard that the recount is mandatory according the the Virginia constitution due to the close numbers 8000 margin. I dont know what your above point was about however. Maybe you can lobby to get their constitution ammended.?
I didnt hear any repubs complain about fraud. You libs have the monopoly on that. Only the media and some libs crying last night...all is forgiven now i suppose...poor things.

I agree on both points.

Now, our voting system is STILL a problem and it needs to be fixed before '08. Most of us have NO WAY to guarantee our votes go toward our choice or any candidate. I realize those machine aren't the only way to mess with an election but it's a big problem.

I think you have your facts mixed up woodrat. It was Gregoire who brought kept demanding recounts until she won. Rossi did go to court to stop the recounts. There were more proven dead people who voted for Gregoire, in King county, than she eventually won the governorship by. She was the queen of count till you win and unlike algore she got away with it.

Re: Voter Fraud?

After Gregoire was declared the winner, Rossi was screaming and whining for a recount until his handlers dragged him away. Not that I think Gregoire is any special treat, but Rossi was pure scumbag.

This nonsense about how only the repubs have "honor" and they always accept defeat with dignity and no calls for recount is just bull.

And, if you will remember back that far, Kerry walked away from the 04 election without a whimper, even though the whole show was rife with problems almost everywhere. Is that honorable enough for you?

My sentiments exactly.

Integrity and liberal, in the same sentence, is an oxymoron.

Shame on you W says now he wants to be friends. The boy just can not tell the truth.

Sad to tell you reichites most of the elections were not close enough that you could steal another election.
