Hi
I have a 2003 Hurricane deck boat with a 4.3 liter volvo penta I/O with low hours. When the engine is cold, it seems to shift fine, but when the engine is warm after pulling a skier or just running at mid throttle for a while, it won't engage into forward gear from neutral position. Reverse always works fine. The shift cable was just replaced 2 years ago. I took it to a Volvo repair dealer in the spring and he said it had the wrong lube oil in it, so he replaced it with Volvo lube and sent me on my way saying he could not find any other problem. It is still doing the same thing. Any ideas???
