Volvo Trim Rams - rebuildable?

Good Morning!

Volvo 501b 1993.

Trim oil is milky and thin. changed oil, cycled the trim up and down on the trailer - all looked ok. No oil leaks.

Put it the water, cycled the trim, and the trim oil is milky again.

I am assuming I'm sucking in water at the trim ram. Are the volvo Rams rebuildable?

If so, does it require any special volvo tools?

They are not serviceable.

Arrgh.

I thought that might be the answer - but not the one I was looking for.

I'm guessing they don't give the trim rams away....
