Volvo TBI unit

Are all TBI unit the same as I have seen one for sale but it's from a V6 and mine is a V8.is there any identification numbers on them,is there any question I should be asking about it.

I'd be a little surprised if they were the same. One way to be sure- look up part numbers and see if a V-8 and V-6 are the same...

They are not the same.

There is a site in in Europe for Volvo parts lookup, I have seen it posted here before..
