Volvo Sx uj-bellows installation question

I just replaced my uj bellows and used bellows adhesive on drive side where the v-ring is but can I trust the pressure of the drive squeezing against the ring to seal the drive??

This is where water was getting in the last time and wondering if I shouldn't put some ultra black sealer on the ring and drive just as I bolt it back on to help make a seal???

Anybody have any suggestions as I am scared that I will get water again and just bought a new driveshaft that I don't want to ruin.

thanks guys

No need, as long as it doesn't get torn or disloged when the drive goes back on, you should be fine.

Ya I think it got torn from what I saw when I took it apart. I will be carefully putting it back on and cross my fingers!!

Thanks for the help!
