VOLVO SX Transom Plate NEEDED!!

1997 Blue Water Monte Carlo, 21' Open bow, 350 GLI 300hp 5.7L V-8 TPI, Volvo SX Drive, and I need a Transom Plate #4111557786. The repair place wants $2,000 for Transom Kit with this transom plate in it. I just need the seal and the transom plate to repair my boat that has a cracked gimble bearing housing.

Does anyone know where I an get one?

Any SX or DPS transom plate will work. That 411155....... number is your Volvo serial number for the transom shield, not a part number.

Ebay has them quite often.

The seals you buy new, not used.

Thank you Don, Seen one on there for $1200 used. Is that a regular going price or is that guy hoping for a big fish to bite?
