My 5.7L Volvo V-8 (in a 96 Chapparral Sunesta)developed a surge at higher RPM from one day to the next. This is noticable between 2000 and 3000 RPM. <br /><br />Also, when I'm pulling a skier out of the water and go full throttle, it takes much longer than normal to get on plane. <br /><br />Carburetion problem? Bad fuel (noticed all this after refueling for the first time at the marina that I use)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
