Volvo Raw Water Pump

G'day!<br /><br />I have a 1993 Volvo 501b. The raw water pump is tired and wants to be replaced. My marine dealer is telling me the volvo part is $300.<br /><br />Isn't this just a johnson pump? Can I source it from someplace else cheaper?<br /><br />Thanks!<br /><br />Jim

ebay? I found one for my boat at $90 used. Whats wrong with that pump though? I've seen those raw water pumps go forever....anyway, no, not cheap for new ones. Google "marine water pump" or similar, and a thousand answers will appear
