Anyone heard of the Volvo pjx water jet?

Can anyone adwise me on what yearly maintenance should be done to this type of drive ?

Before picking up my IO, earlier this summer I test drove a 97 Larson with the volvo 4.3 and a jet drive. It could barely get up on plane. I seriously hope it was an impeller issue or something. The exhaust sounded nice -- that is all I can say good about it. As small and light as the boat was, I expected it to fly -- not to waddle.

Jet boats here in AZ are litterly rockets on the lakes.

They either have the Jacuzzi or a drive that looks a lot like that. I havent seen one ina while but 10 years ago in mis summer months they were all over the place. I dont think so as much any more.

If that boat is running right it should kick some killer wake!

Me, Im a prop guy though so I wouldnt own one of those.

I am helping a friend service his boat that has this water jet - i had newer seen one either - but there should be a few of them in Scandinavia

We have ordered the workshop manual for the jet drive it has QVP7797365

I have more pictures that i will post here later - pictures where you can see the jet and the details much better
