Volvo Penta trim tilt wiring trouble

Hi everyone I have a 1998 cobalt 5.7 GSI and I'm having issues with the trim tilt. so under power using the trim up and down will randomly kill power to the entire boat and motor but will fire back up most times fine. I checked ground stud out back and it looked good but cleaned everything up just to be sure. Seem to help It made it the entire day before shutting it off very last thing on the way home . Any help would be greatly appreciated

That is classic corrosion issue. When you hit the trim the voltage drops so much that the motor dies. Look closer at the cable ends and do remove both ends of both cables to clean and inspect
