Volvo Penta Tilt Trim Motor

Volvo Penta tilt trim motor doesn't work! It works when i have it hot wired directly to motor. replaced the selinoids. i get a buzz when i have test light hooked up grounded to altenator! Help!

What's Buzzing,...??...
The Test Light, the Alt. or the Trim Pump,..??.....

And,.....
You'll need to be Much More Specfic,....... It's a Volvo, What,..??..??..??..??...

our boat is a 2000 225gs glastron with a 5.7. The selinoid buzzes when the test light is grounded to the altnator and i push the button up or down. Sorry I'm just a frusterated girlfriend trying to help!
