Volvo Penta numbers question..

Does anybody know the difference between a VP AQ255A, and a AQ255B? I can get a manifold set pretty cheap, but I have a AQ255A..and this shows only AQ255B. Should be the same darn 350 SBC....just where does VP come up with all these numbers, drive ya nuts. Heres what they fit....<br /><br />Replaces OE Manifolds: 835804-6, 856883-4 <br />Fits Engines: Volvo V8 AQ200D, 200F, 225D, 225E, 225F, 255B , 260A, 271A, 280A, 290A, 311A. AQ500, 570. BB225 225AV, 225B, 260A, 260AV, 260B, 260C<br />Riser Type: Center Riser<br />Weight in box: 44 lbs<br /> <br />Thanks in advance.......

The A models had the end rise exhaust manifold riser combination. The B model changed to center rise with seperate risers. There was also different exhaust Y setups
