I have a 260B volvo penta and when I advance to power it starts to hesitate after a few minutes. I am only able to run at about 2000RPM smoothly. The engine has a Rochester Quad-Jet. Does anyone know when the secondaries open? How can I check this? The engine has new spark plug wires, spark plugs, coil, condensor, points, distributor cap, altenator, and fuel pump. I am also going to check the timing. The only other thing I can think of is if the correct size jets are installed.( I just bought this boat) Any other suggestions?
