I have a Volvo Penta AQ260B. I have only been able to get information on a AQ260A(via pub # 7733454). Is there much of a difference between the engine models? Is it in the drives?

The 260A was mated to many different drives so I doubt that's the difference. It's likely a minor difference but I don't know for sure.

I assume the number you mentioned above is actually 7733450-4 and is the owners manual. There really isn't anything that changes between the A and the B except a few parts, but that would only show up in a parts catalog, the service manuals and owners manuals are the same.<br />For a service manual, you need to order manual number 7733511. That is for the engine only and you would need a different manual for what ever drive you have.

Thanks for the info guys, the number I got was actually straight from the cover for the 260A and it was a short owners manual. It had some specs for dwell, timing, etc, thats what i was concerned about, as long as that info is the same, i'm satisfied!
