When winterizing my 2007 Volvo Penta GXI-G with DPS-A 1.95 this weekend, I noticed that a high pressure hose that comes through the transom and connects to a white round plastic fitting in the back of the stern drive had broken off. Pictures attached. I have tried to search for this part on parts diagrams online without any luck. Does anyone know what this part is or what this line does? Any thoughts are much appreciated!

My initial thought is that it may be a plastic nipple for the speedo tube...and the hose runs up to the speedometer...but thats just a guess. blow some air in the hose and if your speedometer gauge moves...its your speedo tube.

Thank you for the detailed replies! That looks like the part. Now I just need to figure out how to pull the old part off without breaking the barbed ends.
