Volvo Penta DP290A AQ231A - Trim issue

I have a problem with my outboard dropping down slowly (all the way down in about 30min or so). I checked fluid in the hydraulic pump and it looks full (outboard fully down). No visible leaks anywhere from what I can see.

What would be the next best thing to check without taking the whole outboard off?

I'm new to the boat stuff, coming from cars. First post here but I read a lot on here already.

Thanks

I assume you mean the seals in trim cylinders?! Saw kit on ebay for replacements. Any other places I can get them?

Unless you can see oil coming out of the cylinders, Are you adding fluid to the reservoir? If the level of fluid is the same, Im thinking it is the pump. I replaced mine last year when this started happening, and works fine now

The pump is in a really bad spot. I checked with a mirror and the level seemed ok. its suppose to be filled up to the filler hole, which had fluid leaking slowly which means it is filed close to that point.

Is the pump rebuildable or are only new ones available?

I dont see any leaks on the trim cylinders. I'll go and double check though.

Thanks.
