Volvo Penta DP 1994 (white) - need some advice????

I am looking at a nice 94 chris craft that has the volvo dp - white casing. Never seen this before and need your thoughts on this drive. This must be the first generation DP. Any advice would be helpful before I make an offer.

Post a picture. I have also seen drives painted black, and believe it or not Red

Absolutely nothing wrong with that drive. 94 was the last year for that style drive before the DP-S took over.
Personally, I would rather have one like that than a DP-S. Much easier to work on (if you keep the bellows from leaking) but changing those bellows is only a half hour/45 minute job.

i personaly have that exact DP dripe on my boa and love it, as Don mentioned easy to work on, relaible and i have heard these things are tough as they come

Slow down dude, all the proper manuals are already here for free download.
You don't have to super size the text. I see you just uploaded the file 2 hours ago, fine, but don't go crazy posting it on every outdrive thread.
