Has anyone cross referenced the ICM? my parts guys tells me it is obsolete and hinted that a GM (Auto) one is the same. I am not usually a fan of using automotive ignition parts. Anyone know of a cross reference this
Module 3854003

Seems automotive ones are WAY cheaper but i worry about that.

The distributor is a GM AC Delco EST
With saying that all modules have different advance curves. If you can find the GM number on the module use it. If no number, search the VP number and can find the Sierra brand. Not a fan of Sierra but may have to go that route

So,, would the consensus be to use the one in the link??

Yes, But

The issue with buying from Amazon is even Amazon doesn't back the product. There has been many knock off parts which have issues. Not saying the seller in the link is one of those, just something to think about
